CHILD CARE TASK FORCE

Governor Reynolds launched the Child Care Taskforce to develop a comprehensive strategy to address the child care shortage and barriers to work in Iowa.

  • At Eastern Iowa Community College, there's no such thing as "too many chefs in the kitchen." As we celebrate #NationalCulinaryArtsMonth in July, we also wanted to show off the hard-working students in their Registered Apprenticeship program.   • Coronavirus relief grants have helped organizations in Iowa fund crucial job training. Recently, the State Center Police Department was able to train, educate, and fill a need for reserve officers with the grant assistance. In the end, 50 candidates will have successfully made it through the program. In some cases, these are communities with one active officer. Watch what they learned from their pursuit training at a driving course.
